All of our staff at Creche are fully qualified teachers, and our teachers definitely have a passion for supporting all of our multiculteral children and their families.  As well as our talented full-time teachers we also regularly have student teachers who join us for their practicums throughout the year.

Ashlee N

Creche Manager

Teacher - B.Education (E.C.E)

Ashlee has been with Meadowood Creche since her Teaching training over 10 years prior, she has since added to her studies a Bachelor of Naturopathy & Herbal Medicine and has a passion for Health & Well-being of children.

Rhian B

Teacher - B.Ed (E.C Teaching)

In 2022 we welcomed Rhian Bennett to our team.  Rhian graduated from the University of Auckland with a B.Ed (EC Teaching).  Rhian has a love of animals including cats, dogs, guinea pigs and birds and is looking forward to empowering children's learning in her teaching role.

Hitomi Vincent

Teacher - B.Ed (E.C Teaching)

Hitomi has over 10 years experience working in early childhood, with a vision of creating an inclusive and welcoming community and has been with the Creche for a combined total of 6 years, returning back to us in 2024.  In her spare time Hitomi loves travelling, music and spending time with her dog.

 

Jyothi M

Teacher - Grad Dip Teaching (E.C.E)

Jyothi became part of our team in 2023, is a true local and a valued member of our Creche Team.  Jyothi is a mother of two girls and loves socialising and dancing and gives her time as a volunteer teaching her native language

 

Natalie O'Brien

Teacher - B.Ed (E.C Teaching)

In 2025 Natalie joined the Creche team after enjoying a break with family and other educational roles.  Natalie is looking forward to engaging, having fun, and empowering the creche children to be life long learners.

 

Joanne Cass

Teacher - B.Ed (E.C Teaching)

This year we have welcomed Joanne, our newest teacher.  Joanne enjoys supporting cultural identities and fostering children's own point of views.
